To celebrate the 5th Anniversary of the
Chicago Modern Quilt Guild, we’re having a party!
Join us at the Park District of Forest Park for a celebration filled with catered food, fun, quilty fellowship, door prizes, and some surprises.
We’ll be remembering the first 5 years of our guild in a variety of ways. For this special celebration, we ask ALL members to participate in a very special show and tell. We’d love to see everyone bring at least one project to share. Please look through your quilts and bring a one quilt that fits in any of all the following categories:
- Most Modern
- Favorite family/heirloom
- Favorite unfinished
- Learned the most while making
- Least best idea or execution
- Most recent
We hope to unveil the center of our new guild banner! Please bring your finished modern blocks to contribute to the Banner Project with you to the meeting. We’d love to add as many signed blocks to this project as we can!!
For members wishing to attend our Spring Retreat, please bring your completed lottery entry/envelope. If more than 24 members sign up, we will use our lottery procedure to chose members.
Reminder! This event will be held at a different location than our usual monthly meetings!!
