If you’ve never been to one of our retreats before here’s a bit about what happens. This is retreat to work on your own projects (bring a few!). Each person will have a spot to spread out, and the sewing room is open at all hours. The Siena Center is a very welcoming place, it’s run by Dominican Nuns, and they’re quite friendly – you’ll pass them in the hall and at meals. The building is right on the lake, and the rooms are simple, yet roomy enough. Meals are included Saturday breakfast – Sunday lunch. We also have a kitchenette off of the sewing room. You’re welcome to bring snacks / drinks to share. Some people enjoy sewing and visiting at a leisurely pace, and others go with a list and desire to get things done! There is usually a small optional group charity project (about an hour), and get-to-know-you games. It’s a fun time for all.
