Special Exhibit of Member-Made Items at Tinley Park Public Library

June 20, 2017

There is an exhibit of small items made by members of our guild on display through June 30 at the Tinley Park Public Library7851 Timber Dr. in Tinley Park, IL 60304.

There is ample parking, and you can get to the library via the train–the library is across the street from the 80th Ave. stop on the Rock Island line.

Jen Lowe, member of our guild and librarian at Tinley Park, says we are also next to a park, have a small but pleasant boardwalk/wetlands outside the library, and a lovely youth services floor with a pre-school play area.

The library’s hours are 9am-9pm M-F, 9am-5pm on Saturdays, and 12-5 on Sundays. Come out and see works by our members and enjoy the lovely surroundings.

All meetings are 2-5 pm on the third Sunday of the month, unless otherwise noted.

This month’s meeting is on June 25 at 3:30pm, at the First Free Church of Chicago 5255 N Ashland Ave, Chicago, IL.

A list of our meetings can be found here.
