It is with regret and abundance of caution that the Chicago Modern Quilt Guild meeting for today, December 11th is canceled due to inclement weather.
While the severity of our the current winter storm is varied over the Chicagoland area, it is predicted to continue to snow, sometimes heavily, through the early evening hours. We’ve also been checking IDOT’s winter road conditions map, http://apps.dot.illinois.gov/w
While the need to quilt is often an emergency for many of us, the need to drive across snow and ice doesn’t need to be a factor for us today. We are beyond disappointed to have to cancel. Here’s hoping this “found time” today will enable you to stay warm and make something beautiful!
