Sherri Lynn Wood: November Guest Artist Workshop and Lecture

August 31, 2014

Our guild is so excited to present our November Guest lecturer, Sherri Lynn Wood.  Sherri is an accomplished quilter and author who will be teaching at the 2015 QuiltCon.  She is a regular instructor at Penland School of Craft, holds an MFA in Sculpture from Bard College  and is eagerly anticipating the publication of her book The Improv Handbook for Modern Quilters  next Spring.   We were so lucky to be able to host her as she travels through Chicago.

All members are invited to  the Lecture and Meeting. Members interested in signing up for the Workshop are invited to do so by the usual lottery process.  We will begin accepting entries immediately.  If space remains after the lottery selection following our regular September meeting, non-members will be welcome to register.
