On Sunday, June 4th at 11:30am we will be holding a Guild Sew-In at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library (500 N Dunton Ave, Arlington Heights, IL 60004).
Members and guests are welcome. We will be meeting in the Hendrickson Room on the second floor. There is ample parking at the library, both in the open lot and also under the library itself. Please do not arrive before 11:30am.

Please feel free to bring your sewing machine if you wish do to machine work. You are also welcome to do handwork. If you are bringing your machine and have a small extension cord, it is probably a good idea to throw that in your bag too. Don’t forget your power pedal, presser feet, and any other tools you will need! You are welcome to bring snacks with you. Board member Dani will be emailing attendees beforehand to organize irons and ironing boards.
If you wish to take the Metra into Arlington Heights, it is the UPNW line, and it is a 0.2 mile walk straight north from the station to the library. If anyone has mobility issues and needs a ride from the station to the library, please let us know and it will be arranged.
We are also going to do a scrap exchange! Please bring any scraps with which you wish to part. We will set them all out on a table and participants can pick through for goodies. The scraps remaining at the end of the day will be bagged up to use for doggie beds.
