The January meeting will feature a Member Trunk Show, with several of our members showcasing their quilts. Come and see what our members have been creating and how their work continues to evolve. We’ll try to include time for discussion and Q & A.
We’ll also be announcing details for a guild swap (pincushions!) and a new year-long block-of-the-month medallion quilt project. Participate in one or both, or just follow along to see what others create.
Remember, if you want to sign up for the Spring Retreat (March 11-13 or 14), you must register before or at this Sunday’s meeting. Go to this blog post for more information about the retreat and how to register! If we have more registrations than space, we’ll hold a lottery during the break at the meeting, to determine
Also, don’t forget that the last day to submit entries for the International Quilt Festival’s Modern Quilt exhibit is coming up! The challenge is to create modern quilts based on the Drunkard’s Path block. Online submissions can be made now through February 12. For more information, see the blog post here.
