On the Blog: Chicago MQG QuiltCon Charity Quilt, Featured!

July 6, 2015

Have you all seen this?

Our QuiltCon 2015 charity quilt was recently featured on the Modern Quilt Guild’s blog:

We had a total of 25 members participate in the project by making blocks, prepping the top, and quilting it.

The pattern is inspired by the “Blue Ice” pattern from Quilting Modern by Jacquie Gering and Katie Pedersen.

There is an awesome write up about the project and the process, and it can be found {here} on the Modern Quilt Guild’s blog!

Well done, Chicago MQG, we did a fantastic job on this project. We are currently in talks with a local children’s charity with the intent to donate the quilt to one of their annual raffles.

Thank you so much to all of those whom participated, this charity quilt was a huge success!
