Here we go with the first border for our Medallion Quilt Along!
It was great to see and hear about some of the center blocks you’ve been making at Sunday’s Sew In!
Many of them are on Instagram using #chicagomqgmedallion:
We’re going to have some amazing and unique quilts.
If you haven’t made a center block yet, don’t worry, there’s plenty of time to get started. Remember, this is a no pressure, work at your own pace, have fun with it project. Join when you’re ready, add as many or as few borders as you want, or make adjustments to make it your own!
There are links to more information on getting started in this blog post.
If you’re looking for ideas or inspiration there’s plenty of it on our guild Pinterest, Instagram #chicagomqgmedallion, and the Seattle MQG blog.
Ready, set, quilt!

We look forward to seeing your progress at the March meeting. Bring whatever you’ve made for Show and Tell, whether it’s a fabric pull, a center block, or the first border. We can inspire each other to quilt along! And share your photos on Instagram #chicagomqgmedallion!
