October 2016 Meeting – Where do YOU sew? Join Us!

October 2, 2016

Join us for October’s meeting on Sunday, October 16, 2016, for a wonderful presentation hosted by our very own Donna Moscinski.

Donna will be giving a visual presentation on Chicago Modern Quilt Guild member’s creative work spaces – kitchen tables, attics, basements – wherever we work, create, store and escape!

From Donna:

We know how important our sewing/creating spaces are to us – it’s one of the many things that unifies us as quilters.  Have you ever been curious to see how and where our fellow guildsters do their work?  If you are, then the October meeting will delight you.  We will be taking a virtual tour through the quilting spaces of our guild members – it will be an hour of the most interesting eye candy!

If you haven’t sent in pictures of where you work/create/play, it’s not too late.  Send pictures to Donna Moscinski at moquilt@gmail.com.  (and a huge thank you for all of you who have already sent in your pix!)

Picture courtesy of the very organized Holly Harper – thanks Holly!

And I’m planning this to be about an hour – no longer.

Last, for what it’s worth, Hamilton will be shown on PBS the Friday night of our retreat.  Set your DVR!

Thanks Donna! We are all excited to see what you have planned!

All meetings are 2-5 pm on the third Sunday of the month, unless otherwise noted.

This month’s meeting is on Sunday October 16, 2016.
