It was so nice to get to meet Sherri Lynn Wood in person at last week’s meeting! I know it was a marathon of a weekend for her, but I’m so glad we were able to tack on a workshop and lecture with her while she was nearby!
It was exciting to hear all about Sherri’s process in improvisational quilting. She has been quilting and blogging for years, many of us can relate to her exuberance toward quilting. I for one am super excited to get started on a new improv project!
Here’s the link to the Facebook group Sherri mentioned at the meeting. You can share your improv pictures and get feedback from other improv quilters.
If you’re looking for more info about improv quilting check out Sherri Lynn Wood’s upcoming book “The Improv Handbook” – available in March.
