Nervous about sewing curves?

October 7, 2019
Many of our members expressed interest in learning curved piecing this year! The programming committee and some wonderful volunteers are here to answer the call. Our October meeting will be all about sewing curves! Members will demonstrate a variety of techniques for piecing beautiful curves.

Curves are notoriously intimidating but at this meeting we will pull back the curtain and show you how easy they can be. If you signed up to sew curves for the charity quilt, this would be a great time to get some tips and tricks. Even if you are a curved piecer from way back, you may pick up a new technique! So join us!

We will have announcements prior to the demonstrations and don’t forget your show and tell! Sunday, October 20, 2-5 pm at Rush Oak Park Hospital.

All meetings are 2-5 pm on the third Sunday of the month, unless otherwise noted.

This month’s meeting is on October 20!

Meeting location:

Rush Oak Park Hospital
Centennial Room
520 S. Maple Ave Oak Park, Il 60304
