This weekend the International Quilt Festival was in town and on Friday night our guild co-hosted a meetup with the Naperville Modern Quilt Guild. The meetup was a huge hit and although we’re not certain if anyone took a solid head count it’s safe to say that we had 40-50 people present!
We had several generous door prizes donated by both local and national businesses. We really want to give a shout out to Aurifil, Fresh Lemons Quilts, Freshly Pieced, Interweave, Love Bug Studios, Marmalade Fabrics, Material Girl, Pattern Crush, Quilter’s Destination, Sew Mod, Sew Sweetness, Spoonflower, The Needle Shop, The Quilt Show, and Threadbias. These businesses donated fabric, magazines, thread, patterns, etc that our guilds will put to great use! Thanks guys!

It was really great to hang out and chat with the other local modern quilters, I really hope that we can do this again next year!
