Here’s what you need to know:
We’ll be having Member Trunk Shows, where several members will showcase their quilts. There will be time for discussion and Q & A.
We’ll also be collecting dues for the new year. Dues will stay the same at $55. Please bring your dues (check or cash) in an envelope. On the outside of that envelope write your name, address, email address, and phone number. If you are unable to make it to the January meeting, you can mail your check to to our treasurer at our PO Box:

This $55 in dues covers our local Chicago Modern Quilt Guild as well as the national Modern Quilt Guild.

There has been some question regarding the cost for our upcoming spring retreat (April [9] 10-12). The lottery for this retreat will take place at the February meeting, however, we won’t have the exact cost (determined by the retreat center) until just prior to the February meeting. Please be aware that we’ll be announcing this amount as soon as possible, and once that amount has been announced checks can be sent to our PO Box (listed above). Checks will need to be received prior to the February meeting, or bring the check in hand. 🙂 We’ll have a full blog post write-up regarding the retreat as soon as we have all the details.
