We’re having mini trunk shows at the January 19th meeting. Five of our CMQG members will be presenting their work to the group. Join us January 19th from 2-5 pm at St. Peter’s Church in Forest Park.

CMQG 2014 Membership*
It is time to pay our 2014 membership dues.
CMQG individual dues for new members are $55 for 2014.
If you were a member in 2013, dues of $45 will be collected in January, 2014. (This is a one time $10 discount because of the overlap in fiscal years caused by joining the MQG.)
Because the CMQG voted to join the national MQG, we are required to shift our fiscal year by four months from April 1 to January 1. Therefore, we are collecting dues at the January meeting.If you have questions please contact the treasurer, Sarah Evans, directly at sparklesax@gmail.com.
Spring Retreat LotteryMarch 14-16, 2014 – Spring retreat at Sienna Center, Racine, WIOur Spring Retreat begins at 3:00 pm on Friday March 14 through Sunday at 5:00 pm. Three meals, accommodations and a spacious table in the sewing room are included.
Please bring payment in full ($185 cash or check) in an envelope. Be sure to write you name, email address and the best phone number we can use to contact you on the envelope (or a separate piece of paper–even if it is on your check)
If you are not able to be at the meeting send the payment and information to our treasurer so it is received by Saturday January 18 so you can be included in the lottery. Please check the lottery procedures on our website or the retreat announcement email for more information.
CMQG CalendarsCalendars are still available for purchase for $10. This beautiful 18 month calendar showcases the challenge quilts submitted by guild members. Pick up yours at the meeting!
*If you are not going to be at the January meeting and wish to get your new 2014 MQG/CMQG membership card, you must send your dues to the treasurer with the email address you wish the MQG to use for all MQG/CMQG correspondence. While we will accept your membership payment at your convenience, the MQG is only sending out membership cards quarterly and we don’t want you to miss out! Hopefully those who pay by January 19th will receive their cards at the February meeting.
