Yesterday’s meeting of the Chicago Modern Quilt Guildat our new digs – St. Peter’s Church in Forest Park – was a creativity fest. A long-overdue Show and Tell was the focus, and the work displayed by members runs the gamut of design, size, and technique. The 2011-2012 Officers Beth, Donna, Jen and Terri were acknowledged with nifty tote bags, from our Cafe Press shop which features our CMQG logo. Former president Beth also received a CMQG mug. Check out our shop – a small profit goes to our guild! But the best was Terri’s pillow presents for Beth, Donna, and Jen as well as one for Sue, who worked on programming committee with Terri for 2011-2012. Very thoughtful and classy, Terri!
