September 20 @ 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Have you every finished a quilt top and then gotten stuck on the next step: how do I quilt it? Perhaps you have a few WIPs that are at the quilting stage, but you’re just not sure if you want to hand-quilt them, machine-quilt them, or send them out to a longarm quilter. Or maybe you’re unsure of how to approach the design of the quilting itself.
At our September meeting, we’ll have a panel of member experts and a moderator to provide ideas and perspective about quilting designs, approaches, and methods. Bring your completed quilt tops and let our panel offer suggestions for how to quilt them. Wondering about how to prepare a quilt for longarm service? Alternate ways to baste a quilt? How to approach hand quilting? This is the opportunity to ask all sorts of quilty questions. Panel members – and the audience – will be invited to share input and ideas!
Bring your unquilted, but otherwise finished, quilt top or just your curiosity!
