October 17 @ 9:30 am – 4:30 pm
Do you ever wonder why quilts don’t come out looking the way you envisioned when you chose the fabrics? Join Melissa de Leon Mason, award winning modern quilt designer and instructor, for a full-day color mastery workshop that re-trains your brain and eyes for confident fabric pulls — and then puts that mastery straight to work.
The morning is a hands-on color intensive covering interaction, harmonies, and relationships. The afternoon turns ideas into art: using the Glass Garden pattern, you’ll use your new intuition to choose a confident palette and get hands-on instruction in the curve-piecing techniques that bring the blocks to life. You’ll leave with a completed palette, a stack of started (or finished!) blocks, and a color brain that finally trusts itself.
