The November Guild meeting will be held on the 17th, and will include a few important things. We encourage members to attend. New and potential members, as always are warmly welcomed.
Be sure to be there to learn the details surrounding the upcoming guild-wide vote on joining the national Modern Quilt Guild. During the meeting, a brief presentation of the impact or remaining independent versus becoming a part of the MQG will be discussed.
Meeting attendance is not mandatory, and all guild member will have the opportunity to vote online. Members having questions about how this potential change will affect our guild will have a chance to listen the presentation, and ask questions of the Board Members. No voting will take place at this guild meeting, it is simply an opportunity for members to learn more about the issues around the decision whether to join MQG as a guild.
