Our February meeting this year is going to be a sew-in! Please join us Feb. 18, 2018, from 10am to 4pm at Thimbles Quilts, at 940 S. State St. in Lockport, IL.
If you have not been to a sew-in before, it is a day to get together and work on any kind of project, be it handwork or machine, and spend some time with your fellow guild mates! Organizer Dani says: “These are my favourite events of the year!”

The shop has a large workshop space upstairs, with more than enough room for all of us and our machines. There is a freight elevator that you can put your machine and/or equipment in, which you can then meet as it arrives upstairs. (If you have mobility restrictions that would require you to use the elevator, please contact us and we will make arrangements with the shop).

| We’ll have a table where folks can bring snacks and refreshments to share; please label anything that has nuts in it, as we have some members with nut allergies. |
The store itself downstairs will be available for us to shop during the sew-in. There is plenty of free parking in the area, and Lockport has several food options for lunch or snacks (or feel free to bring your own food with you).
Guests are welcome at the sew-in, with a $10 guest fee which will be collected at the event. Please sign up with the form below if you plan on attending, so we know how many people to expect.
