Programming

There were three pouch demonstrations by Susan Holderread, Lynn Bailey, and Angie Wright — thanks for all the demos, y’all!

Angie demonstrated the Wee Braw Bag by Sweet Cinnamon Roses. You can make it many sizes and it’s great for using up scraps!

Lynn demonstrated how she uses Heat n Bond vinyl to turn all kinds of things into pouches (including children’s book pages, magazine covers, chip and candy bags… and more).

Susan Holderread demonstrated the Trixie Zip Pouch, which she’s made in many sizes and styles with a variety of substrates.

Plus we had a big table of pouch examples for folks to explore!

Final Notes

As usual, we had a robust Member Show and Tell with a little time to socialize. Hooray!

See you at our next meeting on July 21, which will be a sew-in at the Skokie Public Library. Get all the details here.
