We hope to see you at the November 17th CMQG meeting at Rush Oak Park Hospital for a casual afternoon of four members showing off their tricks and lessons on using zippers in sewn projects.
Zippers are far easier than they seem and this meeting is a great way to up your zipper skills. CMGQ members Emily Bruzzini, Holly Harper, Emily Lang, and Donna Moscinski have made a lot of projects with a lot of zippers.
They’ll teach you what they’ve learned along the way. They will talk about different kinds of zippers and choosing the best one for your project, how to keep zippers in place while sewing, how to put a zipper pocket in a bag and different ends to make your zipper ends look great. Maybe you’ll want to make a zippered gift for the holiday gift swap at December’s Holiday Pot-Luck meeting!
All meetings are 2-5 pm on the third Sunday of the month, unless otherwise noted.
